Buffalo truck protesters a Kentucky grand jury's decision in the Breonna.

Police say one person was hurt after the driver of a pickup truck blew through a crowd of protesters outside of City Hall in Buffalo Wednesday night.

The group was protesting a Kentucky grand jury's decision in the Breonna Taylor case.

Police say the truck ran over a woman on a bicycle near the steps of city hall, then sped away. She was taken to ECMC, with non-life-threatening injuries.

Video shows the truck speed up as they approach protestors and then race off. Protesters appear to try to stop the truck as it attempts to take off toward Court Street

Spectrum News photographer heard a crash and was able to get video of a female driving the truck away from the scene. The news crew also saw protesters try to jump in the truck and slash the tires to stop the truck from driving away.

People descended upon Niagara Square Wednesday evening following the grand jury's decision in the Breonna Taylor case in Louisville. She's was shot and killed in her apartment when police executed a no-knock warrant at the wrong address.

One of the three officers involved is now facing criminal charges related to that incident. But those charges are not specifically for Taylor's death.

Police in Buffalo say they are investigating the incident, but so far have not said much else.
